12 tb sugar OR 6 tb regular & 6 tb brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4c sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together, then blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 about 10 minutes or until edges golden.
Cool on wire racks before moving to plate.
